I was commissioned by the Athletics Department of NYU Shanghai to produce an instructional video series teaching students and staff how to properly use the university's sports and fitness facilities.
The entire production was executed solo — writing, directing, shooting, and editing — which meant every detail had to be planned meticulously in pre-production, since the actual shoot was compressed into just two afternoons, 6–8 hours total. Staying clear-headed and adaptable on shoot day was as much a part of the job as the planning itself.
The video was well received by Athletics staff and has been played in rotation on multiple screens at Athletics facilities to this day.
